Yi Zhang is a media artist and educator who graduated from the department of Digital+Media at Rhode Island School of Design. During her study, she gained a deep understanding on the concept of Media Art & Technology.
Her artistic work focuses on socially engaged experiences and public participation in a creative process. The social value of her work is reflected in the bond created between the public and artist as well as among the public.
As an educator, she is interested in using digital technology to improve teaching and learning process. She also teaches young students to use multimedia technology as medium and material to solve real-world problems and express their artistic ideas.
